I have lived in Florida for the past 4 years after making the move from Indiana. I love all that the beautiful state of Florida has to offer. I obtained my bachelor’s degree in business marketing from the University of South Florida and also obtained my Real Estate License. Outside of the workday, I love going to the beach, cheering on my favorite sports teams, and spending time with family.

Avia was born in Atlanta, Georgia and raised in Tampa Bay, Florida. She attended Hillsborough County public schools and went on to Tampa Metropolitan College and earned an Associate’s degree in Criminal Justice leading her class as summa cum laude.

After graduation, Avia began a career in the banking and financial arena with an emphasis on management. She served, trained, mentored, developed, and managed general and specialty teams in mortgage default from boarding and servicing loans, managing the beginning stages of default up to the foreclosure process delivering superior quality and service to her valued customer base. After 17 years of service, Avia decided to try her hand at a career that she long desired to pursue. It is this passion that began Avia's investor experience, locating distressed properties, managing rehab projects from start to finish on budget and marketing properties to achieve quick closings. Avia also negotiated with sellers and buyers with the goal of maximizing their Return on Investment (ROI) all throughout the Tampa Bay area. Avia has a unique perspective on understanding the needs of buyers, sellers and investors. I was raised in the Tampa Bay Area. Being raised here, I have become extremely proficient with navigating this town, from large counties to small neighborhoods. This enables me to use my critical thinking skills when finding the “perfect home” for many of my buyers or knowing the market values for when it is time for my sellers to sell.

I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from The University of South Florida. The experiences that I have had in nursing have taught me to be compassionate and considerate of others.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband and 3-children. My hobbies include working out, mountain biking, traveling, and cooking. I also enjoy volunteering at my children’s school.

I became a Realtor to help people to achieve their lifelong dream of owning a home or investment property. This task is meaningful and provides fulfillment to me.

LaShonda is a Tampa Bay native with a natural passion for teaching, people, and Real Estate!

After graduating from the Howard W. Blake, Creative Writing Program, LaShonda took her passions a step further by earning a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from USF.

Inevitably, LaShonda went on to earn an M.B.A. with a concentration in Organizational Leadership. LaShonda applied her degree and professional experience to serving the Hillsborough County Public School system and teaching High School English, as well as ESOL.

While pursuing her undergraduate degree, LaShonda dedicated her time to working the front desk of a major Real Estate firm. Soon after, LaShonda was promoted to Transaction Coordinator. It was then that she developed an interest in obtaining a Real Estate license of her own.

I was raised in Baltimore/Washington DC area. I played college basketball and softball at Shepherd University and graduated with a degree in Physical Education.

I have lived in the Tampa Bay Area since 1995 and am proud to call it my home. Teaching and coaching for the last 25 years has taught me many things such as perseverance and hard work. I am dedicated to helping people in any way I can and this dedication applies to my students/athletes and my clients.

Brigette loves to travel, ride her bicycle, and meet new people. Brigette is also a driven businesswoman, motivated by her childhood passion for helping others. She initially expressed that passion by pursuing a career in the medical field and eventually settling into Home Health Nursing. She quickly mastered this role and realized that she is a natural humanitarian and an advocate for ‘everyday people’! During this time, the Real Estate market began to fluctuate, impacting many of Brigette’s close friends and family. She felt that the business was too transactional and missing that “human element”. Brigette wanted to create a safe haven for her friends and family. At that moment, Brigette was inspired to partner with her husband Correy and build a real estate team!

Brigette hit the ground running by making real connections and using her natural interpersonal and problem-solving skills to assist her new Clients! She has taken pride in negotiating her client’s best interest, protecting their equity and being a trusted guide when it is time to move again. Correy is a Florida Native who loves to spend time with his wife Brigette and family. He also enjoys golf, fishing, travel and watching his son play basketball. Being born into a family of twelve, Correy has a genuine passion for helping others. Loyalty, Respect and Integrity were ingrained at an early age. Along with teamwork and putting others before himself. After graduating from High School, Correy was drawn to enlist in the United States Army. He demonstrated selfless service and was deployed to serve during the first Gulf War. After his enlistment, Correy migrated back into the civilian life and began to diversify his portfolio by strengthening his Sales and Administrative skills. He became a Top Producer and developed a knack for connecting with people on a real level. The conversations frequently turned to Real Estate, grabbing Correy’s attention. He understood the market shifts and missteps that were impacting people all around him. After deep consideration, Correy partnered with his wife Brigette to form a real estate team. He wanted to create a safe haven for his friends and community.
